Pochon Normandy tart
Les Gourmandises de Nathalie(€25.00 /KG)
Discover the authenticity of Pochon La Tarte Normande, a gourmet kit that allows you to make a delicious Norman tart at home for 8 people.
Designed by Les Gourmandises de Nathalie in Calvados, this pouch contains all the dry ingredients necessary for a perfect result: wheat flour, sugar and salt.
Simply add the apples, butter, eggs, a little sugar, heavy cream and a little calvados liqueur.
Nathalie’s recipe:
In a bowl, break the egg and add the powdered sugar.
Whisk until the mixture is frothy and doubles in volume.
Sift the flour, pour it into the terrine, mix with the spatula and continue to mix with your fingertips while crumbling it (this is called "sanding" the dough).
Pour this shortbread onto the work surface, add the diced butter in the middle.
Knead by hand to incorporate the butter (if the dough is well kneaded it will not stick to your fingers).
Form a ball, scrape the board, lightly flour and roll out, place the dough in a pie dish. Reserve in the fridge.
Preheat your oven to 170°C.
Peel 6 to 7 large apples and cut them into strips. Place the strips on the shortcrust pastry.
In a terrine, break the 3 eggs, add 125g sugar, 1 glass of calvados and 3 tablespoons of cream. Mix with a whisk, pour over the apples. Cooking for 45 minutes at 170°C.
