Discover the authenticity of the Gingerbread Pochon, a gourmet kit that allows you to make delicious old-fashioned gingerbread at home.

Designed by Les Gourmandises de Nathalie in Calvados, this pouch contains all the dry ingredients necessary for a perfect result: wheat and rye flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and a tasty blend of spices - cinnamon, anise, ginger, cardamom, coriander, cloves, and star anise.

Simply add honey, eggs, whole milk and melted butter, then let your kitchen fill with the comforting aroma of freshly baked gingerbread.

Nathalie’s recipe:

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°.

  2. In the mixer bowl, pour the kit which contains the flour, sugar, salt, spices and yeast.

  3. Add the honey, milk, eggs and melted butter.

  4. Mix using the food processor to obtain a smooth paste.

  5. Butter a cake dish and pour in the mixture.

  6. Bake at 170° for 40 to 45 minutes.

  7. Check if the gingerbread is cooked using the tip of a knife. If necessary, extend cooking for 5 minutes.
