Griottines

Founded in 1864 in Fougerolles and chaired by Bernard Baud, Grandes Distilleries Peureux are continuing to write their story over the years, thanks to the involvement and passion of their workers. A company, of regional heritage, the Peureux group is honored to represent the richness of its products both within France and for export. Its endless search for excellence has allowed this family business to position itself as the global leader in fruit maceration and the first world-wide producer of fruit Eaux-de-Vie. Eaux-de-Vie, Crèmes & Fruit Liqueurs, Kirsch de Fougerolles A.O.C., or even Un Peureux Absinthe are the result of more than 150 years of expertise, but it is especially the famous Griottines, acclaimed throughout the world for their crunch and their unsurpassed flavor, which have become Grandes Distilleries Peureux's most emblematic product.

Griottines have become a staple of French gastronomy and seduce lovers of fine things. They can be used in a cocktail tasting, a cooking recipe, for some tapas or simply alone...

Small morello cherries in a lightly kirsch liqueur, Griottines bring a touch of glamor to your recipes. Their red box symbolizes seduction, French chic and also a moment of happiness around delicious delicacies. This little scarlet pearl, through its taste, crunch and color, makes your recipes stand out and stirs up the enthusiasm of your guests, who will be delighted to recognize the famous Griottines - like Proust's Madeleine, we all have our own little story with Griottines. More than just a delicacy, they represent not just a true state of mind, but also an identity and, quite often, a memory... that's why they change everything!
